Your contribution to success
- Supporting the other departments in the development and optimization of solutions for their business processes
- Identification and introduction of so-called “best practices” for the company
- Planning and managing enterprise architectures with the definition and implementation of IT standards and orientation towards architectural principles
- Governance, risk and compliance management
- Managing the IT department at the Braunschweig site and supporting the IT departments at the Didcot, Prague and Paris sites
- Coordination and implementation of IT projects and IT training as well as carrying out internal IT audits
- Planning, monitoring and analysis of IT budgets and IT costs as well as initiation and monitoring of cost reduction programs in cooperation with Controlling, while at the same time focusing on performance and incorporating new criteria (risk, compliance)
- Administration of Windows servers (user setup, backup, software updates), Office 365 cloud applications as well as the local network, MS Azure Cloud and its components
- Administration of ERP systems (MS Dynamics D365 for Finance and Operations)
- Documentation of the SOP of the central systems
- Collaboration with the IT user helpdesk via ticket system
This qualifies you
- Degree in computer science, business informatics or similar or completed vocational training in the field of IT, e.g. IT specialist with several years of professional experience
- Experience in creating IT roadmaps and budget planning
- Professional experience in leading cross-functional teams and in the administration of Microsoft systems
- Sound knowledge of operating systems and MS Office
- Good knowledge of database administration
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and MS SharePoint
- Experience in corporate IT structures is an advantage
- Reliability, resilience and high motivation as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident and professional appearance
- Business fluent German and very good English skills required
