Your contribution to success
- Checking the admissibility of export transactions in terms of customs and foreign trade law
- Creation of work instructions in the context of export controls, including assignments to employees
- Carrying out employee training in the area of export and export control
- Integration of the internal ERP system D365 for the implementation of export control requirements and for necessary customs requirements
- Release of order processes from quotation preparation to goods issue
- Support with the classification of goods (customs tariff number, US export list number) on the procurement and export side
- Contact person for the authorities (customs, export and exit customs office, Federal Office of Economics and Export Control, etc.)
- Application for export licences
- Assuming the role and title of export control officer
- Analysing customer documents (KYC and EUC) and related communication with the customer and sales department
- Monitoring sanctions/new regulations in the area of foreign trade (e.g. new version of the Dual-Use Regulation) and deriving the consequences for ITD
- Processing of AEB hit reports and their documentation
- Support in coordinating the dispatch of special equipment nationally, internationally and intercontinentally
- Participation in the selection of logistics and export partners together with Purchasing
This qualifies you
- Sound knowledge of transport, air freight, customs
- Knowledge of export control laws (e.g. AWG, EU Dual-Use Regulation and US export laws (e.g. EAR, ITAR)) desirable
- Knowledge of documentation and reporting
- Sense of responsibility, communication skills, analytical thinking, trustworthiness, detail-orientation
- Assertiveness
- Training competence
- Very good German and good English skills
