Handling highly radioactive materials and alpha, beta and gamma radiation requires a great deal of expertise and, above all, the right systems and equipment. Only in this way can the high safety requirements for people and the environment be met.

Over the past 30 years, Isotope Technologies Dresden GmbH, a subsidiary of the Eckert & Ziegler Group, has been able to deepen precisely this expertise in order to build special systems that guarantee safety when handling radioactive materials. Our radiation protection and isotope production systems enable our international customers in medicine, industry and research and development to process almost all radionuclides.

Your contribution to success

  • Independent and timely realisation of customer requirements including the creation of functional specifications in close coordination with the specialist departments
  • Design and construction of circuit diagrams for our electrical installations in EPLAN, taking into account country-specific standards, industry standards and safety regulations, as well as the interfaces to the intended PLC
  • Dimensioning and selection of hardware components to ensure our system functions
  • Checking technical specifications and defining test requirements based on them, developing concepts for component control

This qualifies you

  • Degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification such as state-certified technician or electronics technician
  • Knowledge of E-Plan P8
  • Knowledge of machine safety desirable
  • Solution- & customer-orientated thinking and acting
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Valid driving licence class B
