Your contribution to success

  • Ensuring the timely, legally compliant and economical disposal of radioactive waste
  • Coordinating waste sorting, including the approval of waste protocols
  • Balancing and documenting waste activities and monitoring temporary storage capacities
  • Training and instructing employees in waste management and disposal
  • Acting as an interface between production, radiation protection and site disposal
  • Analysing and optimising existing processes for waste prevention and reduction

This qualifies you

  • Completed training as a CTA, specialist in recycling and waste management, or bachelor's degree in a scientific field (e.g., chemistry or physics)
  • Ideally, professional experience in radiation protection or in handling radionuclides
  • Knowledge of radiochemistry and radiation physics measurement methods is an advantage
  • Very good German language skills (min. B2 level) in spoken and written German
  • Structured, independent way of working with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong communication skills and enjoyment of training and working with different departments
